Chicago born Jacqueline Cohen is a former senior publication specialist who, after earning an Art Education, Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University with a specialization in painting and photography, spent her career writing a wide range of materials mainly for Motorola and General Dynamics, earning her a Telly Award, a Communicator Award, and other prestigious honors. Her current Sonoran Desert Thrillers, such as Death Beneath the Catalinas, intricately weaves rich, suspenseful stories with Arizona's unique people, history, and places. Also known for her dynamic acrylic paintings and captivating nature photographs, Jacqueline's works have appeared in numerous juried and non-juried shows throughout the U.S.

Currently living with her loving husband and mischievous borzoi in a lightly populated area near Tucson's Santa Catalina Mountains, Jacqueline happily stays out of the extreme heat writing and pursuing creative interests while venturing outdoors in cooler temperatures to photograph and enjoy the Desert's amazing diverse wildlife, vegetation, and enviable environment.
